Delphi Study

Purpose of the campaign Delphi study and survey of the electronic health improvement card

The second phase of the WHPA NCD campaign has 1. a Delphi study and 2. an online evaluation of the electronic health improvement card.

Background

Purpose: The heath improvement card is a simple tool for individuals (adults) to assess and record their current status related to risk factors associated with NCDs and in collaboration with their health professionals to develop and own their personalised health improvement action plan.

While the heath improvement card seeks to offer simple tool, in many cases some degree of local adaptation will be required prior to implementation within a community. However the general concepts underpinning the card should be relevant and common to all settings and communities.

Delphi Study

The purpose of the Delphi study is to seek consensus on how health professionals contribute to enabling healthy behaviour and lifestyle changes through the use of the health improvement card (HIC) and prioritise how the HIC might play a role in the control, prevention and management of risk factors associated with NCDs

Online evaluation of the electronic health improvement card

The purpose of this online survey is to seek consensus on how health professionals contribute to enabling healthy behaviour and lifestyle changes through the use of the electronic health improvement card (eHIC) and prioritise how it might play a role in the control, prevention and management of risk factor associated with NCDs
